In reference to UGC Notification No. F.1-2/2017(EC/PS) dated 18/07/18 on minimum qualifications for appointment of teachers and other academic staff in universities and colleges and measures for the maintenance of standards in higher education, publications in Peer-Reviewed journals and UGC listed journals both are equally valid.

According to the revised regulations, publications in peer-reviewed journals will also be considered for Career Advancement Scheme (CAS), appointment of teachers, and recruitment of academic faculty (Assistant / Associate / Professor / Vice Principal / Principal) and other academic staff.
