Abstract

This is an introduction to a distinct perspective on the subject of varied experience of science by both the genders since early modern times. In the research paper that follows, I attempt to offer helpful contexts in which key concepts, science and sex, are discussed, relevant historiographies detailed and particular, enlightening case studies presented. This special outlook shows, taken in its entirety, that gender science – including both men and women - was diverse and debated during the eighteenth century and that while there were almost exclusively men in formal scientific institutions and publishing houses, their gender relationships were varied. Numerous women still made significant contributions as practitioners and patrons in scientific research.

Abstract

This study identified the personal profile, employees‟ benefits, perception of the employees on the adequacy and equitability of their salaries, and the level of job satisfaction of the faculty members in the private junior high schools of Malabang, Lanao Del Sur. The study was conducted at Malabang, Lanao del Sur. The respondents were the faculty members in the private junior high schools of Malabang, Lanao Del Sur. The findings of this study revealed that in terms of the profile of the respondents, the majority of them were young, female, single, at least college graduate, contractual employees, receiving the minimum wage prescribed under the BARMM Law. As to the benefits enjoyed by the faculty members, they almost received the monetary benefits and only a few on the non monetary benefits except for the Ramadhan bonus and hazard pay. In terms of the perception of the respondents on the adequacy and equitability of their salaries, they all agreed on the phrases stated in the questionnaire. The findings as to the level of job satisfaction in terms of “Job Status” revealed an overall mean score of 3.07, interpreted as “satisfied”; in terms of “Benefits Received”, the variable obtained a mean score of 2.40, interpreted as “unsatisfied”; as to “Basic Needs Fulfilment” it obtained an overall mean score of 3.0, interpreted “unsatisfied”; “Superior-subordinate Relations” obtained an overall mean score of 2.98, interpreted “unsatisfied”; Also “Advancement and Growth” obtained an overall mean score of 2.88, interpreted “unsatisfied”; “Teaching Experience” obtained an overall mean score of 2.93, interpreted “unsatisfied”. Some implications on policy formulation can be deduced from the findings of the study. Firstly, they want a salary increase and most of them are unsatisfied with the new minimum wage order provided under BARMM No. 01; secondly, they recommended additional benefits such as Summer pay, Ramadhan bonus,
Christmas bonus, Cost of Living Allowance, Hazard pay, and Retirement benefits to allow them to meet both ends in this time of economic crisis. Policies on salary and benefits in private junior high schools should be seriously coordinated with the DepEd for additional subsidies for the faculty members. It is recommended that attention and immediate action should be given on the adequacy and equitability of salary. Setting up policies regarding salary is one way that the administration must do. Also conducting an evaluative survey on wage and salary scheme implementation is another way. This is to know whether these faculties are satisfied of the salary they received. It is also recommended that teachers in private junior high schools should enjoy some privileges besides their tenure of office such as Additional Benefits (Summer pay, Ramadhan bonus, Christmas bonus, Cost of Living Allowance, Hazard pay, and Retirement benefits), Private school should invest in the teachers growth and development, both faculty and administrators should endeavour to improve their educational attainment and attendance in seminars and training. They should at least earn a master's degree; the Government should also provide additional financial as a subsidy to the faculty employees in the private junior high schools.

Abstract

The thirst for opportunity ran through the veins of every Indian during the Quit India movement, resulting in a huge surge of popular
cooperation. India is less established than at any other time throughout history due to its opportunities. The development inspired a greater sense of possibility than ever before, exploding like a gigantic flame across the country and hitting every Indian heart. "Whatever the results, India's true security and England's security rest in intentional and convenient British disengagement from India," Gandhiji stated in an article issued on April twenty-sixth, 1942. He outlined the theory which would develop into his 'Quit India' programme. The concept entirely consumed Gandhiji once it had been developed. He began to commit this time to the refinement and recreation of his proposition, which became recognised as the "Quit India" plea.

Abstract

The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, widely known as Hamlet by Shakespeare, is popular for its tragic elements as well as its themes of revenge and internal conflict of the protagonist that has created a story worthy of applause. In this paper, a thorough analysis of Shakespeare’s Hamlet as a tragedy is presented. The motivation for the study was to analyse the different elements
present in the play that establishes it as a unique tragedy through the amalgamation of diverse elements of the ancient and the modern. Thus, the true nature of it as a tragedy can be manifold which is considered the research problem in this paper. An empirical study design is adopted for the article, using Formalism as the primary critical theory to analyse each part of the text and unearth
the elements of tragedy- both in the ancient Greek and modern Shakespearean sense. The results of the paper indicate that Hamlet is a unique synthesis of the ancient notions of tragedy and a modern tragic hero with internal conflicts and self-doubt as well as a revenge tragedy by virtue of its primary theme. It is concluded that Hamlet is rooted in ancient Greek principles in terms of plot and dramatic devices yet the theme makes it a revenge tragedy and its modified character sketch establishes it as a tragedy of thought.

Abstract

The formation of nanostructures in the first meteorites marks the beginning of the history of nanomaterials, which dates back to the big bang. Later, many more nanostructures like skeletons and seashells appeared in nature. Nanoscale smoke materials were created by early humans using fire. The scientific history of nanomaterials, however, started considerably later. The colloidal gold nanoparticles created by Michael Faraday in 1857 are among the earliest scientific publications. Precipitated and fumed silica nanoparticles were being produced and offered as an alternative to ultrafine carbon black for rubber reinforcements in the USA and Germany by the early 1940s. Despite the fact that nanomaterials have a lengthy history, significant advances in nanoscience have just recently emerged. Researchers from various academic disciplines, including biology, medicine, chemistry, mechanics, and materials science, collaborate on research on nanoparticles. The utilisation of nanomaterials causes a significant change in the fields of biotechnology and medical science. Initial test results demonstrate the viability of using nanomaterials for a variety of drug delivery systems, cancer tumour therapy, or cancer tumour detection. Such materials demonstrated a significant impact on the resolution of numerous healthrelated issues. There is a lot of nanotechnology-based research being done to assist patients with HIV and diabetes.

Abstract

The purpose of the current study is to investigate Walt Whitman’s poem “One’s Self I Sing” and the significance associated with its concept of  “Individuality and Democracy” in the setting of the appreciation of  human uniqueness. The objective of the research is to advance  principles of democracy by bringing light on its importance of accepting and acknowledging individual uniqueness through the examination ofthe poem’s language acquisition, conversations and representations.  The investigation aims to broaden and improve the understanding of the complicated nature of human personality through inquiry into the relation between distinctiveness and principles of democracy. This investigation was prompted by a desire to learn about the work of literature “One’s Self I Sing” by Walt Whitman, which is where  Whitman establishes an intriguing connection between individual autonomy and democratic government. The investigation of Walt Whitman’s poem “One’s Self I Sing” uncovers its overarching concepts of uniqueness, political spirit, analysis, and interconnection. All of these concepts are honoured and investigated through Whitman’s powerful  language and poetic approaches. Whitman’s poem underlines the  significance for an atmosphere which promotes individuality and  cultural diversity while maintaining an individual’s right to free  communication. It highlights the relationship between individuals, the surroundings, and the larger sense of humanity. In its whole form, “One’s Self I Sing” is an argument for a free society, separateness, intellectual curiosity, and communication, as well as an appreciation of the distinctiveness of every human being. It provides an appropriate remembrance of how important it is to respect the disparities within people while appreciating humanity as a species. Through investigating the aforementioned concepts, one could develop a world that welcomes and upholds individuals while recognizing the distinctive  characteristics of each individual within a framework of interconnection.
