Abstract

This study focuses on Demography changes in Tibetan refugee community. It mainly emphasizes on the trends of international migration of Tibetan Refugee in South India (Karnataka). Drawing on successive census rounds and qualitative literature review, the study combines quantitative and qualitative methods to identify shifts in international migration trends. The analysis highlights the scale and direction of international mobility, and its demographic consequences. Despite its centrality to understanding contemporary Tibetan demography and community structure, international migration remains under-researched. This paper seeks to address this research gap.
